On our second day we took a 2.5 hour raft trip down the Dunajec River. Here is the vocal first mate of the raft wearing traditional Polish rafting cloths.

Here is the rather silent captain of the raft. The trip cost $15 dollars each which I found a great deal. As far as wild life we saw a stoat (weasel), fish, storks, a black stork, and other birds I don't know.

Here is a raft lauch site on the Slovakian side of the river.

The bridge again with people threatening to drop bombs on us.

More tall tales :)

River bend; there were many.

Slovakians hanging out on their side. Slovakian and Polish are similar, but different enough to be problematic.

Beech trees near the middle of the 2nd mountain hike we did which is the highest of Three Crown (translated) mountain.

A little further up.

The peak was basically a tall thin rock so they had build this walkway , stairs, and platform at the top.

View from the top. The place we were staying in is just off the lower right of the picture.

River with Tatras

Picture of the moon's surface. Actually my camera came up with this while I was boogering with the settings one night.

5:30 in the morning. can you see the red light on the Tatras?

We had to leave :( here is a car picture of something.
